We are an agri-export house working two specific origins in Maharashtra rather than a catalogue of everything. That narrowness is the point: it is what lets us promise a single diameter band and a named cultivar.

Exofusion Ventures buys, grades, packs and exports two crops: red onion from the Nashik belt and Kalipatti chikoo from the Dahanu–Gholwad orchards.

Most exporters in this trade are brokers — they take your order to the mandi and forward whatever arrives. We work the other way round: we take physical possession, re-grade in our own shed, and ship a consignment we have personally sized. It costs us a step. It is the only way to make a grade claim that survives arrival.

On the fruit side we go further, because chikoo is perishable and seasonal. We commit to orchard families on harvest windows ahead of the season, take the fresh fruit while it holds, and route the second flush into dried slices and spray-dried powder rather than letting it go to waste. One origin, three shelf lives, one paper trail.

India's onion exchange floor

Lasalgaon runs Asia's largest onion mandi, and the surrounding corridor — Pimpalgaon, Yeola, Chandwad — grows the hard, dark-skinned red onion that holds up to a long sea leg. We buy graded lots off the floor and directly from cultivator groups, then re-grade before packing.

A GI fruit, not a commodity

The coastal sandy-loam strip north of Mumbai holds a Geographical Indication for Gholwad chikoo. It produces Kalipatti — sweet, low-fibre, thin-skinned, and the cultivar specialty buyers name in their specs. We contract harvest windows with orchard families ahead of season.
